Roblox charges a 30% tax (marketplace fee) on all sales of game passes, developer products, and other marketplace items. This means creators receive 70% of the sale price as earned Robux. For example, if you sell a 100 Robux game pass, you'll earn 70 Robux after the tax.

The 30% tax applies to game passes, developer products, and most marketplace transactions. Different fee structures may apply to Premium Payouts (which you receive at 100%), engagement-based earnings, and avatar item sales. Group payouts also have their own fee structure.

No, the Robux tax is the same for all transactions regardless of whether the buyer has Premium. However, Premium member engagement in your games can earn you additional Premium Payouts (Engagement-Based Payouts), which you receive at 100% with no tax taken.

Earnings from sales are added to your account as earned Robux immediately after the transaction. There used to be a 3-day pending period, but this has been removed for most transactions. You can immediately use these earned Robux or save them for DevEx.
